HOW WILL MN FOUNDATION BE FUNDED?

MN Foundation's initial fund has come from The Gugulethu Ballet Project based in San Francisco, North America who has funded us R39,000.00. MN Foundation’s will be starting an ambitious crowdfunding programme as well as approach for support local, national and international networks to be able to deliver it’s wide and diverse programmes which include alongside the creative arts activities such as spelling and reading programme for our students and offer space to the wider community for such programs, peer to peer mentoring and support after school programmes and more.

WHY IS MN FOUNDATION necessary?

Covid 19 has emphasised even more how marginalised the Eastern Cape and how the lack of visibility of our talent, skills and lack of ways to advance ourselves has continued to imprison dreams and ambitions including our decades of systematic oppression ( pre-Apartheid and post Apartheid ) has had on our imagination and creativity to empower ourselves to change our own lives.

Every child deserves the opportunity to be in spaces and environments that encourage, nurture and cultivates their creativity so that they feel empowered, safe and loved.

WHO WILL BE SERVED BY MN FOUNDATION?
